One Simple Belief

That the people who shaped your family deserve to be supported at home — with care that is consistent, respectful, and genuinely personal.

How Novasen Came to Be

Novasen started from a straightforward observation: that many families in New Taipei City were caring for aging parents at home without adequate support, and that the available options were often impersonal or difficult to navigate. In 2018, a small team of care professionals set out to build something different — a home care service defined not by volume, but by the quality of each individual placement.

Our name carries a sense of renewal — the idea that the later years of life can still hold meaning, connection, and comfort when the right support is in place. We work with families across Yonghe, Zhonghe, Banqiao, and surrounding areas, matching trained caregivers with seniors based on personality, routines, and real care needs.

Over the years, we have learned that the families who trust us are looking for more than a service provider. They are looking for someone who will take genuine interest in their loved one's daily life — and treat that responsibility with the seriousness it deserves.

Our Mission

To support elderly individuals in living well at home — with safety, dignity, and the kind of consistent, attentive care that can only come from caregivers who are thoughtfully selected and properly prepared.

Genuine Care

Every placement is made with care, not convenience. We consider personality, habits, and values — not just schedules.

Family Partnership

We keep families informed and involved. Care is a shared effort, and families always remain the central point of decision-making.

Consistency You Can Rely On

Reliable coverage, backup caregivers, and transparent communication mean families are never left uncertain about what is happening.

The People Behind the Work

Our care coordinators and placement specialists guide every family through the process with patience and candour. This is the team you will work with directly.

HJ

Our Care Standards

The protocols and standards we maintain are not incidental — they are how we ensure every placement lives up to what we promise families.

Background Verification

All caregivers undergo identity checks and background verification before any placement. This is non-negotiable, regardless of prior experience or referrals.

Structured Orientation

New caregivers complete a structured orientation covering personal care techniques, fall awareness, respectful communication, and emergency response basics.

Placement Reviews

Residential placements are reviewed with families every three months. Adjustments to care plans are made based on how needs have evolved since the last review.

Privacy and Discretion

All personal information shared by families and care recipients is treated with strict confidentiality. Caregivers are briefed on privacy expectations before their first visit.

Backup Coverage

A designated backup caregiver is assigned for each residential arrangement, covering scheduled days off and unexpected absences so care continuity is maintained.

Open Communication

Families are always able to raise concerns directly with our team. Feedback is welcomed and addressed promptly — without formality or deflection.

In-Home Elder Care in New Taipei City

In-home elderly care in Taiwan reflects a long cultural tradition of keeping family members close and maintaining their presence within the household. At the same time, working families often face real limitations — time, distance, and the complexity of personal care tasks that require specific training and patience. Novasen bridges this gap by providing professional caregivers who work within the home, on schedules that fit around the family's existing structure.

Our services cover the spectrum from lighter assistance — housekeeping, outdoor accompaniment — to full residential arrangements where a live-in caregiver becomes part of the household's daily rhythm. Each arrangement is personalised based on an intake process that considers health, mobility, daily habits, language preferences, and the family's involvement level.

New Taipei City's dense residential neighbourhoods, accessible transit corridors, and strong community infrastructure make it a practical setting for home-based care. Seniors in Yonghe, Zhonghe, Banqiao, and nearby districts can continue their familiar routines — morning walks, neighbourhood errands, community activities — with a caregiver alongside them rather than relocated to an unfamiliar environment.

Novasen's approach emphasises long-term consistency. Families who begin with housekeeping visits often transition to fuller packages as needs develop, and our team supports those transitions proactively, helping families think ahead rather than react under pressure.
